How I Booked an MSC Cruise Deal for $500 Total

Yes, you can cruise for $250 per person — here’s how I did it using casino comps, status match perks, and travel points.

MSC Cruise Deal: Spring Break Dates Included!

Earlier this month, I sailed on the MSC Divina thanks to a casino-comped cruise from URComped. I loved it so much, I started planning a return trip — and found a deal I couldn’t pass up. My friend Bree and I had been talking about a girls’ getaway, and MSC was the perfect fit. Even though I had free interior cabins available on Carnival, I wanted her to experience MSC’s vibe. Last week, the price was $700. But thanks to the MSC Flash Sale (ending January 24, 2025), I scored an interior Bella cabin for just $500 total — that’s $250 per person!

Bella cabins don’t let you choose your room, but we didn’t mind — our goal was poolside lounging, reading, and catching up. We also didn’t get to choose our dining time with this offer, but again, this didn’t bother us either. For the price, we were thrilled to get away together!

Itinerary: Ocean Cay + Nassau

This sailing includes:

  • 1 day at Ocean Cay Marine Reserve — MSC’s private island paradise

  • 1 day in Nassau, Bahamas

Ocean Cay is one of my favorite cruise stops — white sand, clear water, and no crowds. I can’t wait to share it with Bree.

Flights and Hotel: All on Points

  • Flights: Booked with Southwest Rapid Rewards — just paid taxes and fees.

  • Hotel: One night pre-cruise at a Hyatt Place Dania Beach in Fort Lauderdale, booked with points.

  • Transfers: We’ll Uber to the Port of Miami.
