⏱️ No Reservations — First Come, First Served
Alfredo’s, O’Malley’s, and other casual dining venues do not take reservations. Everything is walk‑up only, and seating is limited.
This is where people get tripped up — especially on longer sailings.
🚨 Warning: The Last Sea Day Is a Zoo
If you go on the last day of your cruise, especially a sea day, it will be PACKED.
Why?
Because everyone suddenly remembers:
“Wait… we haven’t eaten at Alfredo’s yet!”
So they all show up at the same time.
If you want Alfredo’s or O’Malley’s without a wait:
Go early in the cruise
Go on port days
Go at off‑peak times (2–4 PM is usually golden)
This tip alone will save your readers so much frustration.

Here’s what a real day looks like for me on Princess when I have the package — because let’s be honest, without it I’d never drink this much… but with it?
I become a hydrated, caffeinated, wine‑sipping menace to society, and it’s fabulous.
But — and this is important — I cruise 7–10 times a year, so I cannot live like this on every sailing and still fit into my clothes. I go “full package mode” on a few cruises a year… and on the rest, I save money and keep things lighter. It’s all about balance.
