What Is Casual Dining on Princess Cruises?

Casual dining on Princess Cruises refers to the relaxed, sit‑down or quick‑service restaurants that are included with the Princess Plus and Princess Premier packages. These venues offer upgraded meals beyond the buffet and main dining room, without the formality or extra cost of specialty dining. With the 2026 package updates, guests receive a set number of casual dining meals that can be used at places like Alfredo’s, O’Malley’s, Ocean Terrace, and other quick‑service spots depending on the ship. It’s an easy, flexible way to enjoy better food, handcrafted dishes, and unique menus — all without needing reservations or paying additional fees.

🍕 Alfredo’s Menu (2026)

Here’s the full Alfredo’s menu from my Sun Princess sailing. Princess rotates items slightly by ship, but this is the most accurate version onboard. If you’re sailing Sun, Sky, Enchanted, or Royal Princess, your menu will look nearly identical.

Best Pizzas at Alfredo’s

I tried two different pizzas on our cruise. The first two times, I had Pizza Margherita. I like a good fresh cheese pizza sometimes. This one had yummy cheese on it.

Alfredo's PIzza on Sun Princess

On my last visit to Alfredo’s, our waiter suggested I try something different. He mentioned they had just changed it so that we could use the dining credit on the Specialty pizzas and the create your own pizza. I had been eyeing the Cal Italia. Prosciutto, fig preserves, asiago, gorgonzola, mozzarella, and parmesan with balsamic glaze. It was delicious.

Alfredo’s Dessert

I only had room for dessert on one of our meals. I did take a bite or two of the cannoli. It was very good. I would have gotten it again if I had room but never did.

Alfredo’s Specialty Cocktails

I tried three of the specialty cocktails at Alfredo’s. The first one was the Cello Drop. This was the perfect drink to start my cruise off in Italy. Limoncello, Grey Goose Vodka, and Lemon. I love the dried fruit garnish. I thought this was a light, refreshing drink. Highly recommend!

2nd I tried the Roma. I am not a big Gin drinker, but I thought this was good. Hedricks, St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur, Limoncello and fresh raspberries. I preferred the Lemon Cello but this was fun to try especially with Premier Package.

Last but not least, I tried the Signature Tiramisu. This drink is sweet so I had it for dessert. It was really good. If you have the Premier package I would definitely give it a try.

🎯 Final Thoughts: Is Alfredo’s Worth It?

Absolutely. Alfredo’s continues to be one of the best included dining options across the Princess fleet — especially on Royal‑class ships and the new Sun Princess.

Whether you’re grabbing lunch between activities or settling in for dinner, the fresh‑made pizzas, pastas, and desserts make it a standout experience that feels far more premium than “included” dining usually does.

If you’re sailing with Princess Plus or Premier, Alfredo’s is an easy go‑to for high‑quality meals without added cost.
