Crown Grill Princess Menu: Prices, Review & Dining Guide
Guide to the Best Steakhouse at Sea
We sailed the Sun Princess through the Mediterranean, and listen… Crown Grill was one of those meals where the Lazy Girl gets to sit down, relax, and let Princess do all the heavy lifting. No stress, no decisions, no “is this going to be good?” anxiety — just a gorgeous steakhouse dinner that absolutely delivered.
We had the Premier Package (highly recommend on Sun Princess), and honestly? It made the whole cruise feel elevated. Crown Grill was the standout. My husband even said he could eat here twice on a 7‑day sailing — and he meant it.

⭐ Rating: 10/10
Crown Grill is Princess’s classic steakhouse — but on Sun Princess, it feels extra polished. The food, the service, the atmosphere… everything hits.
Why It’s a 10
Steak quality is next‑level — melt‑in‑your‑mouth tender
Signature dishes shine (that lump crab cake… unreal)
Upscale but not stuffy — you can relax and enjoy
Service is warm and attentive
Premier Package makes it feel like a steal
If you love The Wake on Virgin Voyages, Crown Grill is the Princess version of that elevated, indulgent vibe — and honestly, it might be even better.

💗 Our Favorite Dishes
The menu is stacked. I had a hard time choosing each course because everything looked good — and everything was good. Honestly, the menu was so good we could eat here several times on a cruise and be completely happy with no repeats. It’s one of those rare restaurants at sea where every dish feels like a win, and you don’t mind going back again (and again).
🦀 Lump Crab Cake
Full of lump crab meat, barely any filler, perfectly seasoned. I told myself I’d eat half. I ate the whole thing. Zero regrets.
🥣 Seafood Bisque
Rich, creamy, loaded with tender seafood. It’s one of those soups where you take a bite and immediately think, “Oh, they did not come to play.”
🥩 Filet Mignon with Peppercorn Sauce
Filet Mignon
Cooked medium rare, buttery soft, and paired with a peppercorn sauce that gives just the right kick. Classic sides, perfect execution. This is the steakhouse moment you want on a cruise.
🍫 Chocolate Journey
A rich, layered dessert that feels like a proper finale. Not too heavy, but indulgent enough to feel special. I paired mine with an espresso because… cruise rituals.
🌟 Our Upcoming Crown Grill Plans
We love Crown Grill so much that we’ve already booked it for our Sun Princess cruise this August— and we didn’t stop there. We also booked it twice on the Island Princess, including for our Thanksgiving dinner. It’s officially my husband’s favorite restaurant at sea, and honestly, it’s becoming one of our little cruise traditions. When a restaurant is this consistently good, the Lazy Girl way is simple: book it, enjoy it, repeat.
✨Final Thoughts
Crown Grill absolutely lives up to the hype. From the crab cake to the filet to the dessert, every course felt intentional and beautifully prepared. If you’re sailing Sun Princess (or any Princess ship with Crown Grill), this is a must‑do.
And if you’re debating the Premier Package? Crown Grill is one of the reasons to say yes. It’s a delicious way to elevate your cruise without adding stress or decisions.
