💆‍♀️ Overview: The Sun Princess Spa Experience

The Lotus Spa on Sun Princess is modern, calm, and beautifully designed — and unlike some cruise spas, it doesn’t feel chaotic or sales‑driven. Treatments book up fast, especially on sea days, so the best time to grab deals is Day 1, when Princess often runs a “first‑day promotion.”

Brandon and I jumped on it immediately.

If you want a deeper dive into the thermal suite itself, check out my Sun Princess Thermal Spa Guide. And if you’re comparing ships, here’s my Majestic Princess Spa Review.

🌺 Our First‑Day Promotion Experience

Brandon and I booked two hot‑stone massages (one each), and I added a mani/pedi combo.

We used all of my onboard credit for treatments and Brandon’s onboard credit for a few spa products afterward — not because of pressure, but because I wanted something to remind me how lovely the whole experience was.

🪨 My 75‑Minute Hot Stone Massage with Latasiya

Post Massage me - messy hair don't care

Latasiya was incredible — intuitive, gentle, and one of those therapists who knows exactly where your tension lives. The 75‑minute version is absolutely worth the splurge. I walked out feeling lighter, calmer, and genuinely reset.

Brandon loved his massage too — he looked relaxed in a way only vacation can achieve.

💅 My Mani/Pedi with Kacy

My beautiful Mani

Kacy was friendly, calm, and not pushy at all. She mentioned my skin was dry (she wasn’t wrong — I was definitely a little ashy), but it felt helpful, not salesy.

My nails looked amazing afterward, and I felt so much better about myself. There’s something about having fresh nails on a cruise that just hits different.

🛍️ Spa Purchases & Onboard Credit Strategy

I bought a couple of products Kacy recommended — again, not because of pressure, but because I wanted something to remind me how wonderful the whole experience was.

Every time I use them at home, I’m right back in that Sun Princess spa glow.

Tips for Booking Spa Treatments on Sun Princess

  • Book Day 1 promotions — they’re the best deals.

  • Book before you board for the best times - there are sometimes specials

  • Sea days fill up fast — book early.

  • Couples massages sell out first.

  • Use onboard credit strategically (ours covered treatments + products).

  • Visit the thermal suite early morning or late afternoon for the quietest vibe.

📝 Final Thoughts

The Sun Princess spa is one of the best spa experiences I’ve had at sea — not just because of the treatments, but because of the people. Latasiya and Kacy were wonderful, the services were excellent, and the whole experience felt calm, warm, and genuinely restorative. If you’re sailing Sun Princess, the spa is absolutely worth a visit.
