OceanNow Delivery Review (2026): Why the New Drink Menu Shocked Me on My Last Princess Cruise
If you’ve been around here for a while, you know I used to love OceanNow. It was one of those little Princess perks that made a cruise feel extra cozy — waking up, tapping a button, and having a specialty latte show up at my cabin door. It felt indulgent in the best way.
It’s also one of those benefits I loved so much that I gladly paid the $14.99 for it on sailings when I didn’t buy a Plus or Premier package. That’s how much value it used to add to my mornings.
But after my most recent sailing, I have to say it: OceanNow just isn’t the same. And as much as it pains me to admit it, I won’t be paying for it again.

⭐ The Short Version
OceanNow used to be a must‑have. Now it’s a “save your money” situation.
No more specialty coffee delivery
Smaller menu
Slower delivery
Same price, less value
The magic is gone
If you loved OceanNow for the coffee (hi, it’s me), this change hits hard.
☕ What Made OceanNow Amazing Before
OceanNow used to be the easiest little luxury on a Princess cruise:
Lattes delivered to your room
Iced coffees on your balcony
Cappuccinos without waiting in line
Snacks from multiple venues
Fast delivery
It was the kind of thing that made mornings feel special — especially on sea days.
And it wasn’t just coffee. I used to be able to order so many different drinks — Dirty Bananas, multiple mojito flavors, margaritas, frozen cocktails, you name it — and have them delivered to me anywhere on the ship. Pool deck, theater, balcony… it didn’t matter. I kept seeing people complain in Facebook groups that the new OceanNow menu was tiny, and honestly? I thought everyone was being dramatic. But once I was onboard and opened the app myself, I was shocked. The menu went from “look at all these options!” to “wait… that’s it?” The fun frozen drinks and flavored cocktails that made OceanNow feel special are gone.
That version of OceanNow? Princess quietly cut it.
🚫 What Changed (And Why It Matters)
1. No More Specialty Coffee Delivery
This is the deal‑breaker.
You can’t order:
Lattes
Mochas
Cappuccinos
Iced coffees
…through OceanNow anymore.
For me, that was the whole point. Without coffee delivery, the service loses 90% of its value.
If you’re a coffee person, you’ll want to check out myCruise Cabin Essentials— I keep it updated with the items that actually make mornings easier.
2. The Menu Is Smaller
Several items that used to be available simply aren’t. The variety is noticeably reduced, and the app feels more limited overall.
3. Delivery Is Slower
Even simple items took longer than they used to. It didn’t feel like the well‑oiled, “wow this is convenient” service I loved.
4. The Price Doesn’t Match the Experience
You’re paying the same (or more)… for less.
And I’m all for convenience, but not when the convenience disappears.

💸 Is OceanNow Worth It in 2026?
Here’s my honest take — mom‑to‑mom, cruiser‑to‑cruiser:
And just for context: I don’t always buy a drink package, but up until now I have always paid for OceanNow because the coffee delivery alone made it worth it. That’s how much I loved the old version.
But with the changes?
If you loved it for coffee: skip it
If you’re trying to save money: skip it
If you have onboard credit to burn: maybe
If you want snacks delivered: it’s fine, but not special
For me personally? I’m done paying for OceanNow unless Princess brings back the original perks.
🧋 What I’m Doing Instead (And What I Recommend)
Since OceanNow no longer delivers specialty coffees, I brought my own little DIY setup — and it was honestly amazing.
Here’s exactly what I used:
☕ My DIY Cruise Coffee Setup
Mini Travel Espresso Maker– tiny, powerful, and cabin‑friendly
Lavazza Super Crema Pods – smooth and consistent
Insulated Tumbler– keeps drinks cold for hours
I grabbed hot water from the buffet, added ice + milk, and made my own iced lattes every morning. It was delicious, easy, and way cheaper than buying OceanNow.
And yes… it became the talk of the cruise.

❓ OceanNow Delivery FAQ (2026 Update)
Does OceanNow still deliver specialty coffee on Princess Cruises?
No — and this is the biggest change. OceanNow no longer delivers lattes, cappuccinos, mochas, or iced coffees. If coffee delivery was your main reason for buying it (same), you’ll feel this change the most.
Is OceanNow included with Princess Plus or Premier?
Yes . Ocean Now is included
Is OceanNow worth paying for in 2026?
For most cruisers, no — especially if you loved it for coffee. If you have onboard credit to burn, it’s fine for snacks. But the value just isn’t there anymore.
What does OceanNow still deliver?
A smaller menu of:
Select snacks
Some quick‑service items
Basic drinks (not specialty coffee)
Can I use OceanNow without a drink package?
Yes — OceanNow works whether or not you have a package. And for context: I don’t always buy a package, but I did always pay for OceanNow… until now.
Is OceanNow good for families?
It can be helpful for snack delivery, but the slower service and smaller menu may disappoint.
Should first‑time Princess cruisers try OceanNow?
If you’re curious and have onboard credit, sure. If you’re trying to cruise smarter and save money, I’d skip it and put that budget toward a specialty dining night or a shore excursion.
