After sailing Princess 4–5 times a year, I’ve learned exactly what you actually need, what’s optional, and what you can leave at home.

Princess cruises are relaxed, comfortable, and flexible. You don’t need a giant wardrobe or a suitcase full of “just in case” items. Pack things you feel good in, things that make your life easier, and things that help you enjoy your vacation — not stress about it.

🌞 Daytime / Sea Day Clothing

• Casual dresses

Princess has shifted from “Formal Night” to Dress to Impress, which is much more flexible.

I don’t enjoy dressing up formal, so I keep it simple: A cute dress + sandals = done.

You’ll see everything from gowns to jumpsuits to polished casual. Wear what feels good.

Pack:

• 1–2 dresses

• A jumpsuit or nice top + pants

• Comfortable evening sandals

Skip:

• Anything overly formal unless you want to dress up.

🤍 Theme Night: White Night

Princess often hosts a White Night, where guests are encouraged to wear white.

I dance to the beat of my own drum, so I rarely participate — but if you love theme nights, pack a white dress, white linen shirt, or white jumpsuit.

If you don’t want to join in, you won’t feel out of place. Princess is great about letting you be you.
