The Palazzo at The Venetian — Luxury in Las Vegas

Palazzo at the Venetian

Las Vegas is full of iconic resorts, but few combine elegance, space, and perks quite like The Palazzo at The Venetian. Our recent stay reminded me why this property is worth considering for both points travelers and those looking for a splurge. We ended up booking this room thanks to our American Express Platinum Fine Hotels and Resorts credit, which came with incredible perks.

First Impressions

  • The Palazzo feels grand from the moment you step inside — soaring ceilings, marble floors, and a lobby that sets the tone for luxury.

  • Check‑in was smooth, and the staff were attentive, making us feel welcomed right away. We had booked two king suites, but when she noticed I was traveling with my teen boys, she asked if they would prefer two queen beds. They quickly thanked her, and she made it happen and was able to get all our rooms on the same floor.

Suites & Comfort

Suite at the Palazzo at the Venetian
  • Every room here is technically a suite, which means extra space compared to most Vegas hotels. These rooms were huge! My youngest sent me a text of his room, he was so excited to see how big it was.

  • A separate living area with a sectional sofa, desk, and dining table made it easy to spread out.

  • Plush bedding and blackout curtains ensured restful sleep, even in the city that never sleeps.

Dining & Entertainment

Pizza at Buddy V's
  • Direct access to The Venetian’s endless dining options — from celebrity chef restaurants to casual bites. We had lunch at Black Tap and Dinner at Buddy V’s.

  • The property connects seamlessly to the Venetian’s casino, shopping, and entertainment, so you never have to step outside if you don’t want to. My sons don’t love the Las Vegas strip, and we never made it outside. There was more than enough to keep us busy at this resort.

Points, Perks & Value

  • For Amex Platinum perks like Fine Hotels & Resorts benefits (early check‑in, late checkout, breakfast credit, and property credit) can make paying cash worthwhile. This is what we did during this stay. Read about that -> Amex Platinum fine hotels and resorts

  • Resort fees are steep, but offsetting them with credits or perks helps maximize value.

If you’re still deciding, here are other great options:

Family-Friendly Notes

  • The oversized suites are ideal for families — plenty of room for luggage, snacks, and downtime.

  • Easy access to pools and casual dining made it manageable with kids.

  • The quieter vibe of The Palazzo compared to the main Venetian casino floor was a welcome surprise.

Final Thoughts

The Palazzo at The Venetian delivers on luxury, space, and convenience. For travelers who value comfort and perks, it’s a property that can justify the spend — especially when paired with the right credit card benefits. Whether you’re here for a family trip, a couples’ getaway, or a points‑plus‑perks strategy, The Palazzo offers a memorable Las Vegas experience. Our family really enjoyed our stay. The resort is massive, but lots of signs helped us find our way. We would stay here again in Las Vegas. It was a phenomenal stay to end our trip to Zion National Park.
