Love by Britto on Sun Princess: Updated 2026 Review + What I Loved This Time

(My updated 2026 experience — somehow even better the second time)

⭐ Why I Went Back

I loved Love by Britto last year — truly loved it — but this time I knew exactly what to expect. And that changed everything. Instead of trying to figure out the menu or the vibe, I got to sit back, relax, and fully enjoy the experience.

And oh my gosh… it did not disappoint.

Love by Britto is still one of the most joyful, colorful, romantic dining experiences at sea. Somehow it’s even better when you’re not discovering it for the first time — you’re savoring it.

⭐ The Vibe

Love by Britto is Sun Princess’s artsy, pop‑bright specialty restaurant inspired by Romero Britto’s iconic style. Think bold colors, whimsical plating, and a dining room that feels like a celebration.

And here’s the funny part: I am not a girly girl. Hearts and cutesy motifs are not my thing. But in Love by Britto? I’m actively looking for hearts everywhere — pointing them out, smiling at them, loving them. Britto makes hearts feel fun, not frilly, and I’m obsessed with it.

We had a window seat this time, and watching the sunset melt into the horizon while sipping cocktails felt like a scene from a movie. It’s the kind of dinner that makes you slow down, breathe, and actually enjoy vacation.

🦪 Starter: Oyster

I ordered the oyster again because it was perfect last year — salty, clean, and beautifully presented. Still perfect.

🐟 Starter #2: Tuna & Avocado with Pomegranate

Last year I ordered the beet salad (and loved it), but at the last minute I switched to the tuna & avocado pomegranate this time.

Best decision.

Fresh, bright, a little sweet, a little tangy — it made me genuinely happy.

🥩 Main: Duet of Prime Beef & Wagyu

I am not a big beef eater… but this was worth the splurge.

I cut my meat with a butter knife. That’s the review.

Tender, rich, perfectly cooked — and plated with Britto’s signature flair. If you want a “wow” moment, this is the dish.

🍫 Dessert: Chocolate Lava Cake

Warm, gooey, rich, and exactly what you want at the end of a romantic dinner. Still one of the best desserts on Princess.

🍸 Cocktail: Heart of Glass

Last year I ordered the watermelon cocktail and liked it… but this year’s Heart of Glass was better. Balanced, pretty, and perfect with the sunset.

🌅 The View

Our window seat made the whole night feel magical. Watching the sky shift colors while plates arrived like little pieces of art? Perfection.

💖 Julie’s Verdict

Love by Britto is still my #1 favorite restaurant at sea — and somehow, it’s even better the second time around.

If you want a truly magical night out, this is the place. I highly recommend it to anyone sailing Sun Princess.

💬 Our Take as a Couple

While this is my favorite meal on the ship — colorful, creative, and full of flavor — it’s a little too “gastronomy” for my husband. He enjoys the mains (especially the beef and wagyu) but the appetizers and starters aren’t really his thing.

His favorite? Crown Grill. It’s classic, cozy, and exactly his vibe — which is why I’ve already booked it three times on our upcoming Island Princess cruise.

That contrast actually makes our dining nights fun: I chase the art‑forward experiences, and he sticks with the steakhouse perfection. It’s the perfect balance.

🕒 Booking Tips for Love by Britto

This one books up fast — seriously, don’t wait. You can reserve as soon as your cruise is paid off, or if you’re Elite or Platinum, you can book it right when you book your cruise.

It’s worth planning ahead because tables fill quickly, especially on sea days and formal nights. If you want that window seat at sunset (trust me, you do), grab it early.
