Stay at Dream South Beach Miami with Points

Thanks to Hyatt Points, we booked a fabulous stay at Dreams South Beach Miami. I had only driven through South Beach once before. I was excited to get out and explore on foot.

Dream South Beach Miami

We flew into Miami International Airport and headed to the hotel via taxi. Check-in was a breeze at Dream South Beach. First, we were given a complimentary Prosecco. Yes! I love starting a trip with bubbles. We were taken to our room in the tower next door by the bellhop. Our room was over the Mexican restaurant next door. We threw our stuff in the room and headed out to see South Beach. It was a gorgeous day, and we wanted to explore.

Our hotel was a short walk from the water. We took off toward the beach. I love walking down here near the water. It is a great place to people-watch.

I fly into which airport is cheaper for my flights.

My son and me at the beach

We decided to grab a table at an outdoor eatery and people watch sipping cocktails and grabbing a bite to eat. It was a lovely evening.

As we were sitting, enjoying the beautiful weather, a fancy car pulled up beside me, and a photographer came running over, taking lots of pictures. I couldn’t believe it when Ice Cube was sitting right beside me in his fancy car.

We enjoyed our dinner at Locust. It was a great place to people watch and we were able to take advantage of Happy Hour specials of $12 a drink. Living in Nashville, I am used to high drink prices so $12 is a steal in my opinion for South Beach.

After dinner, we headed back to our room and made plans to meet up for breakfast the next morning at 11th Street Dinner. It had been recommended by a friend, and it did not disappoint. My youngest loves a good breakfast, and he was very happy that this place was so convenient to our hotel. We were able to walk a block over for a meal that everyone loved.

Our waiter recommended the waffles, and they were amazing. Everyone cleaned their plates at Breakfast. We went back to the hotel and finished packing before we headed to the Cruise port.

The hotel has a great outdoor area with lots of seating. If you have time between check-out and check-in for your cruise. I could have sat there all day. I also had a really nice stay at the Hyatt Centric South Beach. You can check out that review here.
