☕️ Booked Another Cruise — Casino Deal Style!

I was minding my business this morning — iced coffee in hand — scrolling through my casino offers, when one of those “wait… is this real?” deals popped up. I texted my friend to see if she was up for a trip and within minutes she replied, “I’m in.”
And that was it. Boom — we’re booked.
We’re sailing out of Southampton, which feels like a full‑circle moment because I’ve sailed out of Southampton before on our Norway cruise and it was such an easy port day. I already know exactly how to get there, where to stay, and how to make embarkation day smooth.
And yes — we upgraded to a balcony cabin because it was only $100 more than the interior. Honestly? It would’ve been rude not to. We’re worth it.

✈️ Points & Miles Magic
Flights were the easiest part of this whole thing. I used Alaska Airlines miles to get me to London for $26 in taxes, and then grabbed a direct flight home the day the cruise ends for $190 in fees. It leaves late enough that we can get from Southampton to Heathrow without any stress or frantic terminal sprinting.

Since I’ve stayed in London before — at Hilton Bankside and Hyatt Regency Blackfriars— I already know both are solid choices for a pre‑cruise stay. I’ll grab us a free hotel night using points, which means a full day to explore one of my favorite cities.
And if you’re a carry‑on‑only traveler like me, my Lazy Girl Cruise Packing List has everything I bring on European cruises.
🗺 Cruise Itinerary Sneak Peek
This itinerary is such a fun mix of England, Ireland, and Northern Ireland — cozy pubs, castle days, and sea views for miles.
I can already picture us bundled up on the balcony with coffee, watching the Irish coastline roll by. This one is going to be chef’s kiss.
We’re sailing on the Majestic Princess, home to one of my favorite indoor spaces on any cruise ship — the Hollywood Conservatory. If you want the full vibe, peek at my Majestic Princess Review.
