We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Boston Harborfor our pre‑cruise night before sailing out of Boston, and let me tell you… the journey to get there was a whole adventure of its own.

Travel days aren’t always glamorous — sometimes they’re just a series of “how did we get here” moments — and this one definitely made the highlight reel.

🚕✨ What. A. Night. ✨🚕

It all started with a taxi confidently taking us… to the wrong Hyatt.

I literally read the address straight from my reservation — so I know I said it right — but off we went to the wrong hotel anyway.

No big deal. We hopped into a Lyft.

Except… that driver was a character. And plot twist: that time the wrong hotel was actually my fault because I accidentally selected the wrong one in the app. Boston: 2, Julie: 0.

Finally, our Uber driver swooped in like a hero, found us, and delivered us to the correct Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor.

If you stay here, learn from me: 👉 Tell your driver you’re going to the “Hyatt Regency Airport.” Everyone we talked to said this mix‑up happens constantly.

💛 Nikki at Check‑In: The Real MVP

By the time we rolled into the lobby, we looked like we had lived nine lives.

Nikki checked us in, listened to our saga, and immediately went into hospitality‑hero mode. She offered:

  • A complimentary breakfast for two

  • A bowl of clam chowder at the bar (which turned out to be exactly what my soul needed)

Her kindness completely turned the night around.

🍲 Clam Chowder, A Packed Bar & The Sweetest Waitress

The bar was insanely busy, but the clam chowder was perfect after the chaos.

We ordered drinks, but by the time our food came we were exhausted and ready to collapse into bed. The waitress noticed and removed the drinks from our bill without us even asking. Another small kindness that made a big difference.

🌅 The Room: Peace, Quiet & A Harbor View

Our View Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor

Our room was exactly what we needed — quiet, clean, and overlooking the water.

The boats were all lit up across the harbor, sparkling on the water like a little welcome‑to‑Boston light show. After the night we had, it felt magical.

🛬 Location: Perfect for Pre‑Cruise Travel

This hotel is ideal for anyone flying in before a cruise out of Boston.

There’s a free airport shuttle, which I absolutely should have taken instead of being chauffeured all over Boston by three different drivers. But impatience won, and here we are.

If you’re staying here pre‑cruise, it’s a super convenient spot — and the views alone make it worth it.

⭐ Final Thoughts: Would I Stay Here Again?

Absolutely.

Despite the chaos getting there, the Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor won me over:

  • Kind, thoughtful staff

  • Beautiful harbor views

  • Great food

  • Airport convenience

  • A peaceful room after a long night

Just remember: 👉 Tell your driver “Hyatt Regency Airport.” It’ll save you a whole lot of wandering around Boston.

I’d stay here again in a heartbeat — preferably with fewer transportation plot twists next time.
