I love using points and miles to help our family travel the world for free and cheaply. My favorite cruise line is Virgin Voyages. I have been on four Virgin Cruises and have my 5th booked later this year. My next Virgin voyage is on the Resilient Lady. When I was on the Resilient Lady last November, I purchased a My Next Virgin Voyage (MNVV) certificate. We selected a 6-day cruise to the Caribbean. Since it was a 6-day cruise, we got the following off our cruise:

Our $3000 cruise dropped to $2800 with the MNVV. Thanks to a status match in December of 2023, I also have deep blue extras on this cruise. As you can see from the chart below. This adds significant savings to our cruise. Also, thanks to a promotion, we got another $100 in sailor loot.

Flying to Miami with Southwest Points
To cruise from Miami, we need to fly from Nashville. Southwest does this directly. My husband has the Southwest Companion Pass. We paid for one round-trip ticket with Southwest Rapid Rewards. We then use the companion pass for free. We pay taxes at $11.20. So, instead of paying $400 for a ticket, we are paying $22.40 for both tickets.
Free Hotel Stay at Hilton Bentley South Beach
We are flying to Miami the day before, so we need a hotel the night before our cruise. We are staying at the Hilton Bentley Miami/South Beach. I booked this room using our Hilton Free Night Certificate. We have a $200 resort credit that we will be able to use on this stay for dinner.
