🥩 Crown Grill 2026 Update: What’s New on Sun Princess (August 2026)

Crown Grill 2026 update

A fresh, updated look at Princess’s signature steakhouse — what changed, what stayed amazing, what I ordered, and why Crown Grill continues to be one of my favorite specialty dining experiences at sea. I will say this experience was very similar to my first.

This is not my main Crown Grill review. 👉 If you want the full evergreen review, you can read it here: Crown Grill Review

This post is your 2026 update based on my Sun Princess Mediterranean sailing.

🌟 Quick Takeaway (2026 Update)

Crown Grill on Sun Princess (August 2026) was one of the best meals of our entire Mediterranean cruise. Perfect steaks, warm service, cozy atmosphere — and dolphins swimming beside the ship while we ate. Yes, really.

We loved it so much we’ve already booked it three times on our upcoming Island Princess cruise.

🍽️ What I Ordered (2026)

💬 Our Real Experience (2026)

This meal was everything I love about Crown Grill — cozy, indulgent, and just plain delicious. We had an amazing window seat, and halfway through dinner, we looked out and saw dolphins swimming beside the ship. One of those magical cruise moments you never forget.

Shrimp Cocktail

Big, perfectly chilled shrimp — classic and exactly what you want.

Bread Service (DO NOT SKIP)

Warm, soft, and served with that addictive cheese spread. One of the best parts of the meal.

Filet Mignon + Loaded Baked Potato

I ordered the same main I had last year because it was that good. Melt‑in‑your‑mouth tender filet, cooked perfectly medium rare, and a buttery, cheesy, comforting baked potato.

Pecan Pie

Warm, nutty, sweet — I’d order it again in a heartbeat.

Red Wine Pairing

Rich, smooth, and perfect with the steak.

Service

Friendly, attentive, and perfectly paced. Crown Grill continues to deliver some of the best service on Princess.
