Hilton Hotel de Novo Springdale — A Stay Worth Paying Cash
As a points traveler, I rarely reach for my wallet when a redemption is possible. But our recent stay at the Hilton Hotel de Novo Springdale proved that sometimes, spending actual cash can be the smarter move — especially when paired with the perks of the Amex Hilton Aspire card. On our recent trip to Zion National Park, we paid for our room instead of using points. It was off-season, and it did not make sense to use our Hilton points for such an affordable stay.

🌄 Location & First Impressions
Golden Hour from our room
Nestled in the heart of Springdale, this property is a gateway to adventure and relaxation.
The hotel’s design blends modern luxury with local charm, making it feel both upscale and welcoming.
From the moment we walked in, the staff treated us like valued guests — not just another check-in.
🛏️ Rooms & Comfort
Spacious, beautifully decorated rooms with plush bedding and thoughtful touches.
Floor-to-ceiling windows offered stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
The attention to detail made it feel like a true luxury stay, not just a stopover.
🍽️ Dining & Amenities
On-site restaurant Anu served fresh, locally inspired dishes — worth lingering over instead of rushing out. Not your typical hotel chain food at all. This was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend you try the Prickly Pair Margarita. Yum!
Pool and fitness center were well-maintained, adding to the resort-like vibe.
The property’s atmosphere encouraged slowing down and savoring the stay. We spent a lot of time on our balcony enjoying the fresh air and beauty of the area.

💳 Why We Paid Cash — Amex Aspire Perks
Automatic Diamond Status: Free dining credit (up to $ 30 per day for one of our rooms), Room Upgrades, and late checkout elevated the experience.
Offseason Visit - Our two spacious rooms were very affordable since we visited during the offseason
👨👩👦 Family-Friendly Notes
The spacious layout made it easy to relax as a family. We splurged on two rooms since our boys are older and we like our space.
The quiet, upscale vibe was a refreshing contrast to busier tourist hotels. The resort if pitch black at night, so it makes it the perfect place to stargaze.
✨ Final Thoughts
The Hilton Hotel de Novo Springdale reminded us that not every stay needs to be a points redemption. With the Amex Hilton Aspire perks, paying cash here felt like a smart, rewarding choice. Sometimes, the best travel hack is knowing when to spend — and this property delivered an experience worth every dollar. Our family loved this hotel. It is close to the gates of Zion National Park. It was a perfect stay for a relaxing few days at a National Park.
