STACK & SAVE: Smarter Ways to Use Travel Credits, Points & Perks
No Point Left Behind is reader‑supported. Some of the links on this page are personal referral links for products or services I use myself. If you choose to use one of these links, I may earn points, miles, or a small bonus at no additional cost to you.
I do not use affiliate links for credit cards. Any credit card link you see on this site is a personal referral link for a card I personally hold and use, not a paid partnership. My goal is to share the strategies that work for my family and help you make the most of your own travel credits, perks, and points.
As always, use this information for learning and entertainment — not as personal financial advice.
Travel is expensive — but it doesn’t have to be. Stacking is how I turn the credits, perks, promos, and loyalty benefits I already have into real savings on every trip.
This hub is your complete guide to stacking the NPLB way: simple, strategic, repeatable, and grounded in real examples from my own travels.
What Is Credit Stacking?
Credit stacking means using multiple benefits on the same trip, in the right order, to reduce your out‑of‑pocket cost.
Think of it like building a layered sandwich:
A hotel credit
Elite perks
A promo rate
A shopping portal multiplier
A card benefit
A loyalty program bonus
Each layer adds value. Together, they create savings you can actually feel.
Stacking isn’t extreme. It’s practical. It’s how I make travel cheaper, easier, and more fun — without spreadsheets or complicated rules.
My 5‑Step NPLB Stacking Framework
Activate your credits — turn on every card benefit and portal offer.
Match credits to your trip — use the benefits that naturally fit the trip.
Add portals or promo codes — layer multipliers on top of your credits.
Add loyalty perks — elite status, resort credits, casino offers, etc.
Book in the right order — Credits → Portals → Loyalty → Payment.
I activate all my credit card offers through CardPointers — it helps me leave no offer behind and makes sure every benefit I already have actually gets used. Read my full CardPointers breakdown
