How We Booked This Stay

Thanks to points and miles, our family stayed at the Element Denver Airport Hotel for free. I originally chose this hotel because the room layout included two beds + a pull‑out couch, which is perfect when all four of us share one room.

Using a Chase Marriott Free Night Certificate

We booked this stay using the Marriott Free Night Certificate that comes with my Chase Marriott card.

  • Annual fee: $95

  • Certificate value: up to 35,000 points

  • Our cost for this stay: $0

This is one of the easiest ways families can get a free hotel night every year.

Late‑Night Arrival Experience

We landed in Denver close to midnight after a long travel day. It took nearly two hours to get our rental car, so I was incredibly grateful we booked a hotel right by the airport.

The Element is modern, clean, and has a calming, spa‑like lobby with natural green touches. Even at midnight, check‑in was quick and friendly.

Room Features & Family‑Friendly Layout

Our studio suite had:

  • Two queen beds

  • A pull‑out couch

  • A full kitchenette (fridge, stovetop, microwave, dishes)

  • Plenty of space for four people

  • A minimalist, modern design that felt fresh and spotless

This layout is ideal for families who want extra space without paying for two rooms.

Breakfast Review

We checked in at midnight and left around 10 a.m., but the breakfast spread surprised us — in a good way.

They offered:

  • A yogurt bar

  • Bagels, English muffins, and toast

  • A drink station

  • Cook‑to‑order items (we didn’t try these but they looked great)

My family usually skips hotel breakfasts, but this one looked genuinely appealing.

Why We’d Stay Here Again

We fly to Denver at least once a year, and this hotel is now on my repeat list. Reasons we’d return:

  • Free with points or certificates

  • Spacious rooms for families

  • Kitchenette for late arrivals or early departures

  • Close to the airport

  • Clean, modern, and quiet
