Princess Cruises Deals - Majestic Princess Caribbean

Princess Cruises Deals - Breakdown of Costs

Thanks to Princess Cruises’ Casino Cruise deals and my points and miles, I have spent my share of time on a cruise ship, living my best life. In 2025, I sailed Princess 4x’s. I sailed the Caribbean, Alaska, Norway, and the Greek Isles. I paired my passion for points and miles with my new love of cruising for some amazing travel deals. Want to learn how I do it? I got you!

Casino Cruise Deals

Usually, when I book travel, I start with flights, but for these deals, I start with the cruise. I first started getting Casino Cruise Deals from Princess back in 2023. My son and I sailed on the Enchanted Princess for a week. On my Enchanted Princess Cruise, I hit the casino every day for about an hour a day. I used $400 in onboard credit I had for booking the trip as my casino investment. I played video blackjack every day (this is my game!) I ended up with enough points on this cruise for $400 in onboard credit for my next booking. However, I never intended to use this! I was playing the long game. I wanted to be on the Princess Cruises Casino mailing list. About six weeks after my cruise, the offers started coming in. Since May 2023, I have been receiving complimentary interior cabins for Princess Cruises, paying the taxes and fees on the room, plus $200 deposit per person. We receive the deposit back when we sail as onboard credit.

I will mention that at first, I was getting offers for almost every cruise. The last two ships I have been on, Sky and Royal, do not have video blackjack. I’ve had to adjust my strategy some. I don’t get nearly as many points playing video poker. I am getting better at it! However, I am still receiving free interior cabins. The offers come all the time, and I am always on the lookout for an itinerary that I can convince someone to travel with me on.

When I saw the Majestic Princess was heading to Princess Cay, San Juan, St. Thomas in late March, I thought this would be a perfect time for a cruise. My friend Mary agreed, so we booked the cruise for $400 each. We had to pay the taxes, fees, and deposit all at the time of the booking. We didn’t upgrade our room for this cruise, but we could have paid to upgrade it. I don’t mind an interior cabin, and to be honest, I sleep amazingly in them since it is so dark.

Flights

For flights, I used the website point.me to find availability. There are lots of options for award searches and flights. This is the one I use. I like that it breaks it down like I am 5 years old on the whole process. It shows you the available flights, which award you need to use, etc. How it works:

I ended up booking round-trip tickets on Southwest because it is a direct/non-stop flight. I used 27,000 points and $11.20 for my flights. Considering this is peak spring break I am thrilled! I will not need a hotel this trip since Mary lives in Ft Lauderdale. If I did, I would be staying at the Hyatt Place Dania Beach pre-cruise.
