How to Get a Free 7-Day Eastern Caribbean Cruise

Free 7-Day Eastern Caribbean Cruise

Dreaming of sailing the Eastern Caribbean without paying full price? On this 7-day itinerary with Puerto Rico, I’ll show you exactly how casino cruise deals can unlock free or deeply discounted voyages. From San Juan’s vibrant culture to the turquoise waters of Grand Turk, this guide explains how I turned casino points into a luxury Princess Cruises vacation. Whether you’re curious about casino offers, searching for Caribbean cruise hacks, or planning your next family getaway, here’s how to maximize rewards and sail smarter.

Casino Cruise Deals Explained

I first discovered casino cruise deals on Reddit, and honestly—I was skeptical at first. But giving it a try turned out to be one of the best travel hacks I’ve ever tested. Since then, I’ve sailed on several free cruises (just covering taxes and fees) and already have more booked through 2026. These offers have opened the door to incredible Eastern Caribbean itineraries, including Puerto Rico, St Thomas and more.

Princess Cruises Casino Offers & Perks

My deal with Princess includes a free interior cabin plus $50 in the casino. We just had to pay the taxes and fees, plus a $200 deposit each. We get the $200 back in onboard credit when we board the ship. Our total was around $420 each, and we got $200 back in onboard credit. Score! If we had booked this cruise without a casino deal, it would have been $2,678.

Step-by-Step: How I Earned Free Cruises

I was able to get this free cruise thanks to my time on the Enchanted Princess in May of 2024. It did involve spending time and money in the casino. I took $400 for my initial investment. Thanks to them for having video blackjack (my favorite game). I was able to get enough points in the casino to continue to receive offers for free interior cabins. This works for slots and video poker, too. If you don’t enjoy video blackjack, you can play your game of choice. My goal is not to win a big jackpot (of course, that would be amazing). My goal is to accumulate enough points to get offers when I get back home. The Princess Casino usually has a chart that tells you exactly how many points you need to get offers.

Travel Costs and Savings Breakdown

While my travel buddy and cruise agent Mary lives in South Florida, I’m based in Tennessee, so flying to Fort Lauderdale is always part of my cruise journey. Last year, I faced a canceled Southwest flight after waiting nine hours at the airport. I reached out to customer service, explaining that the delay felt excessive, and to my surprise, they agreed. Even though the cancellation was weather-related, Southwest credited me with $300 in vouchers. That unexpected win covered my flights for this trip, making them completely free! It’s another reminder that persistence pays off and that travel hacks aren’t limited to cruises—you can save on flights too.

I don’t need a hotel for this trip since Mary is also the best hostess. I am crashing at her house pre-cruise! However, if I needed one, there are lots of great Hyatts in the area that I like to stay at for free on points.

Final Thoughts: Cruise Hacks That Work

The final total for the trip was $880 for the cruise and $400 back in onboard credit, and my flights were free. A $3000 trip for $880 that includes all our food is an amazing deal.
