✨ What Is the Lotus Spa & Enclave?
The Lotus Spa is Princess Cruises’ full‑service spa, and the Enclave is their thermal suite — a quiet, adults‑only retreat with:
Heated stone loungers
Hydrotherapy pool
Steam rooms
Saunas
Specialty showers
Relaxation areas
It’s one of the most relaxing spaces on the ship and a favorite for sea days.

📅 How to Book the Thermal Suite
You can book:
In the MedallionClass app
At the Lotus Spa desk once onboard
During embarkation‑day specials
If you want a full‑cruise pass, book early — they sell out.
🎟️ Do You Need a Reservation Time? (The #1 Question Right Now)
Short answer: No — the time you select means nothing.
When you buy a thermal suite pass, the system forces you to choose a time slot. This is just how the booking system works. It does not lock you into a specific time.
You can go anytime during spa hours
You can stay as long as you want
You can go multiple times per day (I personally do!)
No one checks your “reservation time”
Think of it like selecting a time for a gym pass — it’s simply a placeholder.
🎟️ What Happens When You First Visit the Spa (Medallion Sticker Info)
When you check in for the first time, the spa team will put a small sticker on your Medallion. This simply tells the staff that you have an active thermal suite pass.
A few things to know:
The sticker is not a one‑time entry pass
It’s not tied to the “reservation time” you selected
It’s just a quick visual indicator for the spa team
And if yours falls off? Totally normal. I spend so much time in the spa that mine almost always comes off at some point. It’s no big deal — just stop by the desk and they’ll give you a new one in seconds.
💆♀️ Types of Passes
Princess typically offers:
Full‑cruise pass (best value)
Single‑day pass
Port‑day specials (cheaper and less crowded)
Pass availability varies by ship and sailing.
💸 How Much Does the Thermal Suite Cost?
Pricing varies by ship and itinerary, but generally:
Full‑cruise passes are the best deal
Port days are the cheapest
Sea days fill up fast
If you want a full‑cruise pass, book early — they limit the number sold.

Hydrotherapy pool
Heated stone loungers
Saunas + steam rooms
Specialty showers
Relaxation areas
Towels + robes
Treatments (massages, facials, etc.) are not included.
🕒 When Is the Best Time to Go?
Early mornings are peaceful
Port days are the quietest
Afternoons get busier on sea days
Evenings are cozy and warm after dinner
And yes — you can go twice a day if you want. I often do.
🧺 What to Bring
Hair tie
Water bottle
Kindle or audiobook
They provide towels and robes.
🎧 Relax Smarter: Audible for Sea Days
One of my favorite spa‑day rituals? Audiobooks. I always download a few before sailing — perfect for the heated loungers or balcony mornings.
If you haven’t tried Audible yet, there’s a signup bonus available through Amazon right now. It’s a great way to start listening while earning a little extra.
👉 Try Audible’s current bonus offer— I use it every cruise for spa mornings and sea‑day relaxation.
💡 Pro Tips
Book your pass on embarkation day for the best chance at availability
Check for port‑day specials
Use onboard credit to pay
Bring your own spa essentials to avoid upsells
If you’re on a ship without the Enclave (Ruby, Crown, Emerald, Caribbean), skip the thermal suite entirely
