Grand Turk is my ride‑or‑die port. I will book any cruise that has Grand Turk in the itinerary — it’s truly my happy place in the Caribbean. It’s the easiest port day imaginable: you step off the ship and the beach is right there. No taxis, no stress, no planning.
This is the port where I live my best Lazy Girl life — floating, relaxing, doing absolutely nothing.

🌊 Roatán — My Redemption Arc Port
Roatan
Roatán is lush, tropical, and full of adventure — ziplining, snorkeling, sloth sanctuaries, and some of the prettiest water in the Western Caribbean.
But here’s my honest take: I didn’t get to explore Roatán properly the first time. Tanner and I visited during fire season, and the air quality was rough enough that we cut our day short because of my asthma. We basically got a tiny taste of Roatán… and then headed straight back to the ship.

🛍️ St. Thomas — Shopping + Views + Repeat Visits
I just visited St. Thomas in March (although I had visited 20 years ago), and I loved it so much that I’m already heading back in January. It’s gorgeous — blue water, green hills, and some of the best shopping in the Caribbean.

Amber Cove has one of the best port setups in the Caribbean. It’s basically a resort day without the resort price — huge free pool, lazy river, cabanas, and tons of space to relax.
I usually enjoy the port area, float, relax, and when I get hungry… I head back to the ship. It’s the perfect Lazy Girl port.
