As we docked in Bimini, the turquoise water and palm-lined pathways set the tone. Virgin Voyages guests are whisked to the Beach Club via complimentary shuttles, and the vibe hits immediately: curated music, chic cabanas, and a relaxed, adults-only atmosphere.
Unlike traditional cruise line private islands, Bimini is a public island—but Virgin’s 4.5-acre beach club feels like a secluded escape.

The Beach Experience
The beach itself is stunning—powdery white sand, crystal-clear water, and plenty of loungers. I spent most of my time alternating between the ocean and the pool, which features a DJ and a lively but not overwhelming party vibe.

Pro tip: Grab a drink early and find a shaded spot before the midday rush.

Virgin offers optional wellness activities like beach yoga and meditation sessions. There are also rentable cabanas for added luxury, though I found the standard loungers more than sufficient. I also found a hammock to take a nap in later in the day.
