My cruise buddy/cruise agent and I decided to try out the Sky Princess the first week of February 2025. This was Mary’s first time on Princess, and I was hoping she was going to love it.
To save money, we booked an interior cabin. This was my 2nd interior cabin, and to be honest, I loved it. The room gets so dark thanks to no windows. We had to set alarms each morning to get up. At home, I regularly get up at 5 am getting to sleep in is a huge plus for me.

As cruise agents, Mary and I have both completed the training for Princess. Thanks for completing all their training. We were given Elite status for our Cruise. This included a stocked fridge, a minibar, and other amenities.

On the first full day of our cruise we arrived at Princess Cay. You can read more about that here. While we were eating our free lunch on Princess Cay we had two crew members ask if they could join us for lunch. We said of course! Little did we know that they would soon be our favorite people on the cruise. While eating lunch, with our new friends they realized Mary was a cruise agent. They asked if we wanted to come upstairs and talk about the Suite life. We of course said yes. That evening we joined them for complimentary drinks and snacks in the Suite Lounge. I had no idea this was a thing! Let me just tell you it was amazing. It was so amazing.

I am seriously considering upgrading my Sun Princess cruise in September to a suite. I just need to do the math and see if I can at all rationalize it. It’s a bucket list trip for me and my husband of the Greek Isles and we do love the finer things in life. Regardless, I am so thankful to Jose and Beauty for letting us see the “good life” on this cruise. Everyone was so incredibly nice in the lounge and it was a great place to relax the hustle and bustle of the ship. If you debating a suite and have the means I highly recommend you just do it!
