Renaissance Ross Bridge Golf Resort & Spa

If you’re looking for a fabulous getaway in Alabama that blends Southern charm with resort-style amenities, the Renaissance Birmingham Ross Bridge Golf Resort & Spa in Hoover is your answer. With castle-like architecture, sweeping views of the Alabama hills, and one of the longest golf courses in the world, this property offers both relaxation and adventure. Our family used to live in Birmingham, Alabama. This was always my favorite place to stay.

Renaissance Ross Bridge

Why Ross Bridge Stands Out

  • Location: Nestled in Hoover, just outside Birmingham, making it convenient yet tucked away.

  • Design: The resort looks like a grand castle, with stonework and turrets that feel straight out of Europe.

  • Golf: Home to the Ross Bridge Golf Course, part of the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, stretching over 8,191 yards—one of the longest courses in the world.

  • Spa: The Spa at Ross Bridge offers massages, facials, and wellness treatments, perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing or golf. They have an absolutely beautiful spa. I highly recommend.

Rooms & Amenities

Gorgeous, spacious guest rooms with balconies. Our family appreciates the large outdoor pool, especially when my boys were younger. My husband and I enjoy the quiet walking trails and romantic views. When my kids were younger, I would book a room here in the winter to take advantage of the indoor pool. It really is a beautiful place to stay. We have even enjoyed the live entertainment of bagpipes being played as the sun sets. Such a nice treat!
