Renaissance Ross Bridge Golf Resort & Spa

Looking for a luxurious Southern escape that blends castle vibes, spa serenity, and family-friendly comfort? The Renaissance Ross Bridge Golf Resort & Spa in Birmingham, Alabama is one of our favorite getaways — and it’s surprisingly accessible. With sweeping views, one of the longest golf courses in the world, and a full-service spa, this resort feels like a hidden gem in the hills of Hoover.

We’ve stayed here multiple times — and it’s perfect for couples, families, and anyone craving a relaxing weekend with upscale amenities.

Rooms & Amenities

Gorgeous, spacious guest rooms with balconies. Our family appreciates the large outdoor pool, especially when my boys were younger. My husband and I enjoy the quiet walking trails and romantic views. When my kids were younger, I would book a room here in the winter to take advantage of the indoor pool. It really is a beautiful place to stay. We have even enjoyed the live entertainment of bagpipes being played as the sun sets. Such a nice treat!

On-site dining includes:

  • Brock’s – Upscale Mediterranean-inspired cuisine. We love the breakfast buffet at Brock’s. We even stayed on Christmas Eve numerous times and enjoyed celebrating our holidays here.

  • The Clubhouse Restaurant – Casual dining with golf course views

  • JT’s Lounge – Perfect for cocktails and light bites - our family loves splitting light bites over a bottle of wine here.
